Our self-directed process helps students to develop self-confidence and self direction. Students evaluate their progress on their own on daily basis and award themselves merits accordingly. The merits are re-evaluated by the staff to avoid misuse of the academic system. Students can understand themselves better than anyone else and thus they work hard to award appropriate merits. They learn to be more responsible and focused for their goals. They begin to feel motivated and encouraged when they themselves make decisions.
Students can award 30 merits per day. In the self-directed system, we provide our students such an environment which provides best education resources to make students more focused and aware of their talents and potential which triggers their learning process. Like merits, demerits are also awarded by the students and they are given a chance for self-correction in case of any rule violation or disobeying staff member. Students take responsibility of their actions and are encouraged to make behavioral corrections in future.
